FIVE DANCERS DONATE THEIR HAIR TO THE PANTENE BEAUTIFUL LENGTHS PROGRAM!!!

On Monday, May 21, a third of Seton’s dance team were just five girls of over 200 Seton students who donated their ponytails to Beautiful Lengths. Since September, many Seton students have been growing their hair out in preparation for this day of donations.

The well-publicized event included a special performance by the Varsity Dance Team. The team performed a kick routine choreographed by 2006-07 captains Nikki S and Olivia M to the song “Hair”.

Not long after their performance, Paige K, Sarah H, Kelly C, Emma D and Krista H all had their ponytails cut off and donated them to the fantastic cause.

Pantene Beautiful Lengths encourages individuals to grow, cut and donate their healthy hair to make free wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment. Hair donations are made into wigs by campaign partner HairUWear, which produces real-hair wigs and extensions. The finished wigs are distributed at no cost to cancer patients through the American Cancer Society national network of wig banks.
